NRF24L01+ RF Trace Width

Hi,

I have a question regarding the width of the RF traces on the NRF24L01+.  From the gerbers I notice the width is approximately 0.5mm and the separation to the closest ground plane is approximately 1.2mm.  What is the purpose of this and how does this achieve a 50 Ohm impedance?

Would it not be better to use a Coplanar Waveguide with trace width 1.1mm, plane clearance of 0.2mm and a distance from top to bottom layer of 1.55mm for a 2-layer board?  Please advise as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Alex
