Hi,
I've heard some stories that that using analog capable pins for digital IO (UART in our case) results in significantly higher power consumption than using a pin that only supports digital IO.
I've done some searching on the topic but haven't managed to find anything. To me it doesn't sound quite right but specially one of our programmers thinks that using P0.30 and P0.31 with UART uses a lot more power than say P0.22 and P0.23.
Were in pre-production with out board at the moment so I just wanted to check that this is not the case.
Thanks in advance,
John.
