Are these power down examples are helpful. They clearly indicate how to power on the nrf51822 from system off and system on (idle)

The I am looking for a example how to system off and system on (idle) with the softdevice.

This example should provide an example showing how to "correctly" leave advertising to disable the radio. It will also show how to disable any enabled peripherial bocks.

The nRF51 SDK contains an example named "ble_app_pwr_profiling" located in Nordic\nrf51822\Board\nrf6310\s110\ble_app_pwr_profiling. It shows how to enter low power mode and system off mode using SoftDevice. You can read about the example here: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../a00082.html
