Upload a DFU file via remote beacon

The problem is that the load was made via application, using nRF Tools in the DFU option, since I wanted to understand what I did with the files and others, but now that I want it, it is to return to the demo version, which does not achievement because neither my BLE recognizes me the beacon, is there any way to do a physical reset or is it necessary to use the J-Link?
I'll appreciate your answer.

  • Hello,

If the bootloader is still present, you should be able to access it, if it isn't overwritten. As it is stated in this post, you can enter bootloader mode by holding the SW1 while plugging in the battery. After this, you must compile the beacon project so that you get the correct hex file, and upload it through DFU, as you did before.

Do you have the SDK for the nRF beacon kit?

    Best regards,

    Edvin
