nRF51822 + Eclipse(GCC) + STLink on MacOs

Hello all!

I am working in a project in which I have designed my own PCB using the nRF51822 chip because is gonna be used for BLE applications.

I have some experience developing hardware but not the same with the software Disappointed.

The question is: it is possible to program this chip using the free IDE Eclipse with the GCC plugin and OpenOCD??

In case of YES, can someone tell me(tutorial/step by step could be really grateful) how to do it? As I said I have no experience and everything that I read seems quite complicate and with dates from 3 years ago so maybe there are simple ways now.

In case of NO, can someone give me some alternatives using free software?

Also I want to add that I use OSX and I am planning to use ST-Link for debugging and programming.

Thank you really much and I hope you could help me Slight smileSlight smile
