Are packets in the BLE mesh sent on all 3 advertising channels simultaneously?

Based upon looking at the spec (v4.x)... during BLE advertisement, a device will transmit packets on each of the 3 advertising channels (37, 38, 39) one after the other. The Bluetooth Mesh spec is based upon v4.x and nodes will therefore have the same behavior. This can be confirmed by looking at sniffed mesh packets in WireShark.
Furthermore, advertising packets are sent periodically on each of the channels based upon a time interval plus a random delay.
