Cannot pair nRF51822 with Win 8.1

Hello,

I took the ble_app_hrs rebuilt it and used Control to verify all is correct. I also tested it with the nRFTools Android App and it works fine I see temperature changing based on my actions.

I made a change in all of the characterisitcs are OPEN, no security is necessary. I also added a 'case' statement to handle the sec_req_env event.

Now I would like to pair it with Windows 8.1 so I can take advantage of the BLE api for Windows.

The first problem I encountered is that I cannot pair with Win 8.1. Win 8 just says it cannot pair check with the manufacturer and try again.

has anyone tested this with Win 8? would you be able to share the steps to make this work with me?

Using SDK 6.0 and s110 v7.
