Should upgrade the GCC from 4.9 2015-q3 to 6-2017-q2-update?

Hi Sir,

In my system (windows 7), I had install the GCC 4.9 2015 q3 for SDK 14.2.0/12.3.0.

As reference the release note of SDK 15, the GCC upgrade to 6-2017-q2-update.

Should I upgrade the GCC from 4.9 2015-q3 to 6-2017-q2-update for further develop in SDK 15?

Or it also OK if I can compile the SDK 15.0.0 project use GCC 4.9 2015-q3? if cannot, any side effect there?

Hi,

4.9 2015-q3 will probably work fine with SDK 15, but it has not been tested or verified by us, so would  recommend to use the toolchain version specified in the release notes for the SDK version you're using.
