S110 7.0 Remote DFU: Flashing Bootloader

It appears version 7.0 of the SoftDevice 110 supports over the air flashing of softdevice/bootloader/application or a zip containing a combination of the three.

Trying to flash the softdevice and/or bootloader using nRF Toolbox I get "Remote DFU Not Supported".

Is there a setting I need to change somewhere to enable this functionality?

How about this: has anyone been able to actually flash bootloader or softdevice using the DFU service?

  • Hi EL,

Which DFU bootloader you used ? You need to use the bootloader located in experimental folder: \Board\nrf6310\experimental\device_firmware_updates\bootloader to able to have softdevice and bootloader update feature. The default one doesn't has this feature.
