Error with nrf52DK and mac OS HS

Hello I'm using a macbookPro 2016 which only has usb-c and I can only connect the dk through a usb hub.

I have already installed the nrf5x-Command Line Tools for OSX but when I make the command nrfjprog --recover --log it gives me the error of:

BUG: JLinkARM DLL reported an error. Try again. If error condition
ERROR: persists, run the same command again with argument --log, contact Nordic
ERROR: Semiconductor and provide the generated log.log file to them.

Hi Navarrocantero,

Are you using a nRF52 DK?

Can you see a JLINK drive under file explorer when you attach the device via USB?

Could you report back to me the result when you use the command "nrfjprog -v"?

Could you also test with another USB cable as well?

Hello, YES I can see perfectly the JLINK in the file explorer, yesterday update the bootloader following another guide of the following link :

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../my-nrf52-nrf51-dk-kit-doesn-t-work and after getting the bootloader updated to the latest version

And yes im using a official nordic nRF52DK

I have also tried several USB cables without success

And the command nrfprog -v gives me the following output:

I have try too the JLINK utilty with the same result, no success:

Could you delete Jlink v6.32d and install the version v6.22g?

I think there could be an issue with the new version, so I would recommend you to downgrade.

Yes I have tried erasing all and installing the old version  and reboot the machine and nothing dosnt work neither

-Could you try to download this file

-Put the DK in bootloader mode

-Copy the file over

-wait 10 seconds

-Then power cycle the board 

 

Could you also try with another computer to see try to narrow the issue down?
