Looking for Firmware Developer for our connected lamp Hyko

Hello Noric Dev Zone members,

we are looking for a Firmware developer supporting us in bringing Hyko to our customers.

What we are working on is making energy heroes in every home. That’s how we believe we can make a better world. So we created Hyko, a super-powered polar bear named after an Inuit word for “ice”. Hyko is a smart connected device with an app ecosystem. Hyko is kids glowing companion that playfully teaches about energy, light magic, and daily routines. We believe that every child should be empowered to question, think, and act consciously when it comes to energy. We want to encourage them to be curious and lead the energy revolution starting with their homes. Check Hyko out here

Here is what we are looking for:

  • You will be responsible for the firmware development and will interface low-level components like accelerometers, LEDs, NFC or audio hardware.
  • You will be working on the communication interface and interaction with Hyko App creating a seamless user experience between physical and digital world
  • Debug and fix hardware and software issues in our embedded systems
  • You will be involved in bringing hardware from few prototypes to manufacturing on a large scale, thus quality assurance, certification, or functional testing are something you can do - read want to learn.
  • Keeping things structured and well documented is important (enough) to you
  • You have or love kids

Feel free to contact me directly for questions or use angel.co to apply.

Looking forward hearing from you.

Best
Philipp
