undefined reference to `__start_sdh_stack_observers'

I receive error: undefined reference to `__start_sdh_stack_observers' while building, which occurs in nrf_sdh.c

both, source and header file were included in makefile as below:

$(SDK_ROOT)/components/softdevice/common/nrf_sdh.c \

$(SDK_ROOT)/components/softdevice/common \

same corresponds to #include diective in main.c

#include "nrf_sdh.h"

sdk_config file seems good either.

The issue I currently deal with is iclude error in nrf_sdh.c

I've tried to iclude all files from sdk_common.h, but similar errror occured.

including "sdk_commmon.h" in main.c does not corrupt any errors.

Hi,

The __start_sdh_stack_observers should be defined by the linker script. Are you using the linker scripts included in the SDK? 

Linker declaration:

  PROVIDE(__stop_sdh_stack_observers = .);

My answer is not applicable to users of IAR or Keil, as the toolchains included with these IDEs allow you to define linker symbols directly in the code, removing the need to modify the linker script.

The NRF_SECTION_DEF() macro for generating the linker sections can be found at line 115 in nrf_section.h
