How to import AppKey on nRF mesh iOS App?

Hello,

I've downloaded nRF mesh and installed it on my iPhone, I can use it to provision my device, but there is a question about how to import AppKey on it. 

I clicked "+" to import my appkey, 4f68ad85d9f48ac8589df665b6b49b8a, but after it completing, but I found that there are two values

one is 4f68ad85d9f48ac8589df665b6b49b8a

the other is 0x37xxxxxxxxxxxxx0E,

What do both of them mean?

Hello Kren,

For nRFMesh on iOS, we can give the new Appkey a name, but the value of the Appkey will be generated by the APP itself.

So what you see in the APP means that you create a new key which name is "4f68...", and the key value is "0x37F8..."

I will check with the APP developer to see if we can make the user possible to edit the key value instead of only naming it :)

Thanks Rick for the rapid response, Appkey configurable will make developer have more flexbility to do the test.

One more thing, Netkey on this app is configurable, it's different implementation like appkey, correct?

Yes, the network key in the APP is configurable
By the way, we also have nRFMesh on Android, and it is possible for us to configure the value of the AppKey in the Android version.

Hi Rick,

Just tested nRF Mesh android app. 

1. when I want to add a new appkey, after hitting "OK" button, it seemed to be successful, but when I reloaded the App page, I found that there are just three appkeys, not the key I imported. 

2. then, I tried to edit an existing key, it seemed to be successful, but when I reloaded the App page, I found that the appkey I edited is the still the old key, not the one I input. 

Could you please double check with Nordic mobild team?
