I can be able to update the firmware to using debugging pins to ready remote(via nrf52dk) and can able to pair with my lap top and operate. but once i disconnect it from lap top and started scanning then my remote is not advertising. so which button we need to press to enable the advertising once it disconnected.? it is advertising if i flash the firmware again.

and also i have add on dk board iam not getting how to operate that ? how to flash firmware ?how to enable advertise? i gone through user guide but not helped much. so please help on the same.

  • Hi,

If you have paired (bonded) the smart remote with a device, it will do directed advertising towards this device and go to sleep after a short period of time. You can delete bonding information as desctibed in the Pairing Quick Start documentation.

In order to program the DK add-on board, you need to assemble it as described in the two first sections of the Quick start docuemntation. The firmwares are available for download on the product page. The firmware package contains projects for Keil  IDE and GCC compiler.

    Best regards,

  • Hi ,

Thank you why audio configuration is only on Ubuntu why not on windows.

  • Unfortunately, Windows is not supported by the driver used for the audio service. Linux is typically more used for remote controlled devices than windows.

  • Hi,

Will it work on Ubuntu 17 version? or only on Ubuntu 16.04?

  • I don't know if it have been tested with Ubuntu 17.xx, but it should probably work fine. No guarantees though, as the documentation say 16.04 LTS. You will just have to try it out.
