BLE module

Our company is manufacturing security and telecom products. In our security product range, we are adding blue tooth based product which is under development. For this product we would like to use your SoC nRF52832 or equivalent MCU which has BLE, provided this in build BLE module is certified for FCC, CE, IC and other applicable standard. And so we can use these certification ID for our product. And  hence no need to get the certification ID. And once we have decided we would like to have your technical support for our product development. Please suggest. Thanks and Regards Harikant

  • Yes, the our BLE stack,i.e. SoftDevices, are deliverd as precompiled binaries with header files exposing the API and are pre-qualified by the Bluetooth SIG if used on Nordic HW.  This SW architecture ensures clean separation between application and protocol stack. No Bluetooth qualification is needed if you add on HW, but you need to re-certify the entire product for  FCC, CE, or IC certification eventhough the BLE module is certified.
