nRFgoStudio crashes when starting.

I have installed from "nrfgostudio_win-64_1.21.2_installer" on Win-10 laptop. Weh I start nRFgoStudio, the main window appears for a second then I get a message "nrfgostudio.exe has stopped working" and I have to close the program.I have tried re-booting & re-installing, also installing to a new folder. I have tried running from the command line with the command lline option suggested in a similar post with the same results.

I have experienced similar problems after I installed JLink version 6.32d. Version 6.20 worked fine. Can you upgrade or downgrade your JLink version?

It is recommended to use the JLink v6.22g . (source)

I've tried j-link drivers V6.22g, no change. I also tried uninstalling and rolling back to older versions of the IAR EWARM, same result. I think this problem may have arisen when I upgraded to V8-30 of EWARM, but I've tried uninstalling 8-30 & installing 8-11 and 8-22 with no  change.
