Stack overflow with softdevice, freertos tasks and app_timer

Good afternoon,

I am facing the following issue:

a client application writes to several characteristics (write with no response) I set in my chip, which trigger the execution of several freertos tasks and timers. What happens is, after some time, the chip freezes. I assumed the scheduling queue got overflowed. Could you, please, enlighten me about what the problem really is and suggest how to solve it? Thank you.

seems like stack or heap overflow. Try to increase the RAM size (if available for the application) and the heap size in FreeRTOSConfig.h file.

It would be nice to know to start the debugger where the code is looping (freezing)
