Compliance of nRf52832 at 50V/m radiated immunity (MIL-461F)

Hi!

My design has to be tested at 50V/m according to MIL-461F. Are there any experience with this high field strength or the MIL-standard? I want to avoid the cost of shield cans if possible.

The layout is close to the reference design (with DC/DC) and has a 1/4-wave PCB antenna with additional PI-filter matching at the antenna feed point

50 V/m is very high. While we haven't tested this, I believe you must have a shield around as much as possible to avoid taking out the radio completely. Normal field strength tests at ~10 V/m is usually ok without a shield.
