PPK: Error when validating firmware

Hello Nordic Team,

I have some issues with the PPK since i uptdated nrfconnect from 2.0 to 2.4.

I get this error message when I try to select the serial port on Power Profiler connect.

Error when validating firmware: Error occured when read. Errorcode: CouldNotOpenDLL (0x7) Lowlevel error: JLINKARM_DLL_NOT_FOUND (ffffff9c)

I'd like to add that the PPK was working well on the previous version.

I'm on Windows, and i'm using nrf52840 DK preview board with Jlink v6.16.

Do you know how to fix this problems ?

Hi mDurietz,

I would first like you to try to download J-link version 6.22g.

 

If that does not solve the issue, check if you have a problem with the path. (similar to this case)

Thanks you for your quick response.

I was afraid that install Jlink V 6.22g will impact wireshark for the sniffer.

But hopefully both sniffer and PPK work well !
