nRF Connect (Mac v. 2.4.0) can't scan

Just installed Mac v. 2.4.0 of nRF Connect, and the "Start Scan" button is disabled. Here's the log:

System is a 2015 MacBook Pro with macOS 10.13.5.

My understanding is that "DLL" is a Windows term, not appropriate for Mac.
