PCA10056 board not getting detecting/programmed in nRFgo studio

Hello,

I have brought new PCA10056 board for BLE5 evaluation but hard part is board is not getting detected in nRFgo studio nor in Keil.

I can see COM port getting generated even Segger Sr# number can be seen but when i click on it, no device gets detected. I have attach nRF Studio image for reference. 

I even tried to connect board with J-flash but no luck. I have attach j-flash error message screenshot. 

I am trying to test in below environment,

Windows 10 64 bit 

nRFgo Studio Ver. 1.21.2.10

nRF5x-Command -Line-Tools Ver. 9.7.3 

J-Link V622g

J-Link V512g

Hi,

Can you try to use nrfjprog with the command "nrfjprog --recover --log", and see if that gives any error messages? You will also get a log file named "log.log" in the directory from which you ran the command. If you get any errors, please provide the command line output from the nrfjprog command as well as the log.log file.

Hi,

"JLinkARM.dll CORESIGHT_WriteAPDPReg returned error -102." is often a sign of voltage problems.

Can you check and confirm that:

• The nRF power source switch (SW9) is set to "VDD"
• The board is connected to the PC over USB to the USB connector (J2) at the short end of the board
• LED5 is on
• The voltage level VDD to GND is somewhere in the range 2.8V to 3.3V
• You get the same issue when using a different USB cable
• You get the same issue when using a different computer

Do you have other DKs or Dongles, and if so do they show similar behavior?

The voltage level VDD to GND is somewhere in the range 2.8V to 3.3V
- Yes it 3 volts
You get the same issue when using a different USB cable

-Yes same issue with different computer. I tried in 4 different environments.

Do you have other DKs or Dongles, and if so do they show similar behavior?

Yes i have PCA10036 and its getting detected as well as programmed.

I have also arrange second PCA10056 board, even that shows same behaviour.

Hello,

Were you able to solve this issue? I was thinking possible you can check that you didn't by accident enable pin reset, and that pin now is pulled low externally.
