No signal with custom nRF52840 board with SKY66114 front end.nf

Hello,

I have a problem where the nRF52840 is not advertising. The code runs in the debugger but there is no radio signal. I've already sent the schematic and layout. I've isolated the problem to the nRF52 itself and not the front end. Would powering VDD but not VDDH cause something like this? I haven't found anything in the registers that would explain the situation. The code works on the PCA10056 board.

Running the code for a while causes the error:

<error> app: SOFTDEVICE: ASSERTION FAILED

The POWER register is sometimes 0x0000000 and sometimes 0x0000001 but it makes no difference. The STATE register is set to 0 (disabled) but the PCA10056 board shows the same.

Would appreciate any pointers on this.

Do you have more than one custom PCB? If so, do you see the same problem on those PCBs?

To test the radio, could you test the radio transmitter and receiver example with PCA10056? Just to check if the radio works or not.

Yes I have multiple boards and they all have this problem.

I received no response from the transmistter/receiver examples.

I also tried to scope the 32MHz crystal but I couldn't get a lock on either my board or PCA10056. Is this because the crystal is being started and stopped very rapidly?
