Phones supporting DLE

Does anyone know where I can find a list of which phones/tablets support Data Length Extension (DLE)?

We are finding that many budget phones (e.g. Motorola G6, Samsung Galaxy J7, Asus Zenphone V, and LG K20V) do not support this feature of BLE 4.2 even though they are running Android 7 or 8.

Great site. The issue we've found is that BLE 4.2 devices "may support" DLE and not "must support" so a number of BLE 4.2 Devices we've tested reject a DLE request.

DLE is not a mandatory feature in BLE 4.2. So unfortunately, I don’t think there exist such a list. But, Samsung Galaxy S8, and other high-end phones supports DLE.

I think it would be great if Nordic added functionality in the nRFConnect app to check the phone's BLE capabilities. That information could be uploaded to a database to create a nice list of what phones (with which software versions) support the various BLE features. I'd be happy to run that on the stack of phones we use for testing.

Hi Sigurd, What's the source of this information? I am looking to find out if Samsung Galaxy S7 supports DLE or not.
