The current Mesh SDK supports nRF52840, I don't see any problem using the same example on the dongle, except for some reconfiguration of the LED, button pins, and maybe the UART pins ?
It would be great if you could include support for the board, as it makes it hard to get started to have to find out where to change the above.
I think the CMake/Board.cmake needs to be updated and CMake/board/pca10059.cmake needs to be created. It still doesn't work for me after doing the above, complaining about LED_START and LED_STOP not being defined.
Now I have to dig through the mesh SDK and nRF SDK to figure out what to change. It would be great if it worked out of the box.

Hi Erland,
The PCA10059 is a little bit different as there is no separate LEDs but one RGB LED.
You would need to rewrite the hal_leds_init() to avoid using LED_START, LED_STOP but to set the pins as output manually instead.
