Hi,

I would like to synchronize 2 Sensors with one dongle. So the problem is that we have two sensors and we want to start the  measurement at the more or less (1 ms) exact time.

Therefore we would like to send from the central to both peripherals at the same time one message with the exact counter value.

Is this somehow feasible with BLE.

Hi Constantin,

This would be hard to achieve with BLE if you want to start measurements at 1ms.

I would instead recommend you to check out Enhanced ShockBurst for your application.

Yes we already know it and it is fine but it is not feasible for certification since we do not pass EMC test because ESB has the frequency hopping disabled which causes a high power in only one channel and hence makes trouble during certficiation. Furthermore, our central is a smart device which does not support ESB. So we would need a solution with BLE only.

If you are going to send measurements at 1ms it would not be sufficient to use BLE.
