Basic nRF52832 Chip Setup for Programming

Hello,

I have been doing research trying to figure out how to program just the nRF52832 chip. I want to program the nRF52832 chip with the Arduino IDE from sandeepmistry's GitHub for nRF52 based boards. I am trying to figure out what are the essential components for the setup of the chip to be able to run and program it. I have looked at the Sparkfun nRF52832 Breakout Board but I want to to design my own circuit to fit my design size parameters. 

I am new to PCB design and trying to figure out the best way to go about designing a very basic circuit for the nRF52832 and how to program it. I was wondering if there was a setup guide for the chip or if someone could give me guidance on how to design circuit to be able to program the basic chip.

Hi,

 

Once you have your board finished, you can program the chip with a Segger J-Link debugger or a nRF5x-DK, using either Segger Embedded Studio or Keil directly or our commandline tool nrfjprog. The debugger only requires VDD, GND, SWDCLK and SWDIO.
