pca10040 dev board is not getting detected anymore.

Hi,

MY pca10056 dev board is no longer getting detected. i have gone through this post

here is what i have checked ,

Does the device show up in Device Manager?

No

Have you tried a different USB cable?

Yes

Have you tried using a different computer?

Yes, One with windows and another with ubuntu.

Have you tried to press the IF BOOT/RESET?

It is not showing up as a Removable Storage Device.

Have you measured the supply voltage on the kit?

Yes, Vdd pin measures only 0 V but 5V pin gives 5 V as expected.

Have you made sure that you are using the latest J-Link driver version?

Yes

Is there any fix for it?

This can be a bit of a night horse!

Download the latest version of nRF Tools:

https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/Products/nRF52840/nRF5x-Command-Line-Tools-Win32/58850

Perhaps also uninstall nRFGO and reinstall.

Any luck so far?

Vdd pin measures only 0 V but 5V pin gives 5 V as expected.
This is pretty strange. I assume you haven't cut any solder bridges and that all the switches are in correct position as described here?
