I am guessing you mean provisioned & not "provided", correct? You should theoretically be able to have 10,000 plus nodes in the mesh network & connect one proxy node (either client or server) to the nrf mesh app. The theoretical limit is 32767 unicast addresses per mesh network (see Section 2.3.5 in the Bluetooth Mesh Profile specification). You would most likely provision via multiple provisioners, as there is flash limitation on the provisioner dev kit when you provision too many devices. It would not make sense to provision a lot of nodes via the nrf mesh app, as this would be extremely time consuming.
