POWER_CONFIG_DEFAULT_DCDCEN is not useful?

When I configured POWER_CONFIG_DEFAULT_DCDCEN =1, I found almost no change compared to the case of dcdc, but when I added APP_ERROR_CHECK(sd_power_dcdc_mode_set(NRF_POWER_DCDC_ENABLE)) after the protocol stack was initialized, the apparent peak current dropped from 12ms to 6ma, is POWER_CONFIG_DEFAULT_DCDCEN = 1 No effect, configure POWER_CONFIG_DEFAULT_DCDCEN =1 and can not really be dcdc, I use sdk14.2 nrf52832

Hi,

 

If you are not using the power module (nrf_drv_power) then setting this define will have no effect. I suspect that you are not using (or have enabled) the nrf_drv_power module.
