I made an experiment with configuring the VSCode IDE for nRF development. The results were quite satisfactory so I decided to post an example configuration to github in case anyone is interested. It can be found here VSC-Nordic-example.

Hi,
Thank you for sharing this! I am sure it can be useful for the many nRF developers already using the excellent Visual Studio Code editor to write their code.
Hi, I could setup the environment correctly. I came across missing header files. Could you give me some advice on solving this issue? https://ibb.co/wswrvfS
I have the same issue.. someone have solved this?
Had this problem as well, this is because you have forgot to set defines in your c_cpp_properties.json file. For example
"defines": [
"APP_TIMER_V2",
"APP_TIMER_V2_RTC1_ENABLED",
"BOARD_PCA10056",
"CONFIG_GPIO_AS_PINRESET",
"FLOAT_ABI_HARD",
"NRF52840_XXAA",
"NRF_SD_BLE_API_VERSION=7",
"S140",
"SOFTDEVICE_PRESENT",
],
