IOS-nRF-Mesh-Library publishing / subscribing configuration and firmware version

Hi

when trying https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/IOS-nRF-Mesh-Library everything goes OK (I think...) all the nodes gets provisioned, all the elements gets addresses, there are keys and so on... everything seems to be in place, next step should be publishing / subscribing configuration I guess? but I am stuck there... is there any tutorial, blog or any information on how to configure this so I can turn on / off the LEDs on one board with the buttons on the other?

And the second question is related to the firmware, for this provisioning, the ones included are the same from the Mesh light switch? or is a custom one? where can I find it? I would need to modify, add some PWM and so on, but I think starting with the firmware that can be provisioned is a good idea.

Tks!

  • Hi Joakim,

So, I cant provision the SDK for mesh with the app... apparently the models used for the app (and Thingy) (ie generic_on_off) are not the same as the ones used on the SDK for mesh (ie simple_on_off)...

So I am trying to migrate the generic_on_off model from Thingy source code to the SDK for Mesh... I got it running for the Client / Switch I think... I can compile, flash and provision it with the app... but I am not so lucky doing it on the Server...

So thats where I am at the moment... if you have any info... reaallly appreciate it... ;)
