Fanstel BC832 - uart configurtion

Hi all!

I'm using the fanstel board. I can see that the "ble - uart" examples run ok.

In the code the configuration assign to P06 (Tx) and P08 (Rx) , when i look in the Fanstel schematic, I see that the uart is supposed to be in  P12 (Tx) and P11 (Rx).

So, i'm a little confused here, what is the assignment that i'm supposed to do for my own board using the example? 

How does it work if the code write for one pin-out and the schematic points to another one?

•  The GPIOs are programmable, so if you want to use UART on different pins then you can just define that in the software.

 

• This should be taken into consideration when choosing which pins to use.

 

• Using the SDK on other boards

Ok, so if the example of ble-uart work when i configure it to pca10040, it's shell work for P06 and P08. But if i want that P12 and P11 pins i need to create my own config file?
