Algorithm power consumption estimation

We're thinking about implementing a machine learning algorithm in our nrf52832 based product. Before starting implementation, I would like to estimate the power consumption of the algorithm and it's impact on battery life of our product. How can this be done? Any tools available?

Hi,

In short, you would need to somehow estimate how long time the algorithm uses to do the calculations. This is the time the CPU will need to be in RUN mode. With only some pseudo code, it will be difficult to get a good estimate. I’m not aware of any tools that does this, so I think you actually need to do some implementation, and measure how long time thing takes.
