We are experiencing issues with nrfutil being flagged as containing malware, see screenshot below. Has Nordic experienced this before, is there something we can do to stop nrfutil from being quarantined?

What antivirus software are you using?
I checked with our tools department, this is what they said:
run through https://www.virustotal.com/nb/
check which antivirus complain
check with the antivirus company why
I had that problem once with one antivirus that was complaining we were installing unwanted things (segger installer bundled with nrfjprog installer)
I contacted the antivirus company informing of why we were doing it and the permission from segger and they removed it from future versions

I have to admit I am disappointed in the fact that you suggest I contact the antivirus companies in question. In my opinion this is Nordic's tool and should be Nordic's responsibility to ensure nrfutil doesn't appear as malware.
I did as your tools team asked and ran nrfutil through https://www.viriustotal.com/nb/ and I received 2/69 hits, see below. The hits are from Cylance and SentinelOne.
Please request your tools team look into this matter further.
Note I am using nrfutil v3.5.1

Thank you. I will register this as an issue with our Tools team. Which antivirus program are you using? or is the screenshot you attached originally from a similar test program as virustotal?
It's being flagged in Viriustotal and by one of our customers.
