nRF52840 connection to GPS module over UART (long range example)

Hi, all. I am trying to add a GPS module to the nRF52840 DK, just like what is done at this post. https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/b/blog/posts/nrf52840-long-range-demo

But I am not sure where I should start. Is it possible to get the source code for the post above? Or even just a tutorial on how to configure the pins to connect to the GPS module over uart and what is the software interface for external uart connect.
