how to connect multiple nrf52840 dongles with each other using mesh and establish communication between them?

i have SDK of mesh version 2.2.0 and nrf5 SDK version 15.1 My question is what are the steps I should follow after flashing the hex file into the dongle. I am using nrf connect desktop windows application to flash the program. Is this method right? Also I tested one example named 'blinky'. The path folder is given below

C:\Users\NIMISH GHAGARE\Desktop\nrf\nRF5_SDK_15.1.0_a8c0c4d\examples\peripheral\blinky\hex

The LD1 led is glowing Red,Green and Blue colours. Is this the required output? Please help I am really confused.

Also how to establish mesh connection betwen 3 dongles. And do i need external power supply to drive the dongles? If yes then how?
