light_switch demo doesn't show in nrf_mesh Android application but they are visible in nrf_connect

Hi all,

I want to provision my mesh network of light_switch demo examples form ble_mesh_sdk_2.2.0 using the nrf_mesh android application but when I did scan in the app none of the devices were visible but when I scanned in nrf connect android app they are appear in the scan devices.

Any help on how to provision my mesh network using Android application.

Hi.

If you want to provision using the nRF Mesh Application for Android, you need to program your DK's with the proxy_client and proxy_server examples found in the nrf5_SDK_for_Mesh_v2.2.0_src\examples\light_switch folder.

I am able to see the devices in proxy_server and proxy_client  how to turn on led on off using the mobile app please help this. can we add GATT provisioning in simple_light and simple_switch code.

Hi.

Have you looked under the section "Provisioning with nRF Mesh app" in the light switch demo example?

If you like to turn a LED on/off by using a mobile phone, you have to create a service in your project which you use call the function for turning on/off LED when you publish on a selected address.

GATT provisioning is supported by default in the proxy_server and proxy_client examples, please read more about it here.
