Directed advertising

Hi,

If I do a directed advertising (peripheral device) with specific peer address, then  will the peripheral device  visible to other phones ( whose peer address does not match with that address which we set in the peripheral device)?....Or the periheral device will be visible to pnly the phone with the peer address set in the peripheral device?

Hi,

The BLE stack in the mobile devices (as well as most desktop operating systems) will typically filter out directed advertisement packages that are meant for other devices, so they will not be visible. (The advertisement packets are of course still visible to a BLE sniffer or similar, though.)

And if do a directed advertising using a specific peer address..Is it possible to establish connection between them?..If yes how can I do it.

Yes, it is possible to use connectable directed advertising. This is demonstrated in the HID Mouse Application example.

Yes,Thank you very much for your time and suggestion.,I was looking in to the same example... But could not get the flow of the application...Anyway I will try to understand it.Is there anyother examples using directed advertising and connecting to central other than the keyboard and mouse examples?
