Relay and long range

Is it possible to let the relay-example from the SDK 15.0 run in a way, so that the long-range feature of Bt 5 is supported between the Peripheral and the Central?

If yes, what would be necessary to change the example successfully? The Collector is a Smartphone, so between Collector and Central only short range should be used under Bt 4.x.

Sorry I'm not sure I understand what you want to do here. Do you want to use long range between the peripheral and relay example, and normal between relay example and smartphone?

Yes, this I ment, since smartphones yet dont supply the long range feature of BT 5.

Yes, it should be possible to do this. You have to modify the peripheral and the central part of the relay example. I suggest you have a look at this example, it shows you how you can enable the long range feature. Also have a look at this post.
