Can I setup mesh network where (multiple devices (mobile phones) are connected to each other) using nRF52840 dongles only or do I need a development kit

Hello fellow developers need your help

I have bought 3 nRF52840 dongles and want to setup a mesh network as stated above. I have downloaded nRF Connect windows application and mobile application. Also I have downloaded nRF SDK for mesh version 2.2.0 and nRF5_SDK version 15.0. Please guide me how to go about this since I am new to this. I tested all normal examples which don't require mesh like ble_blinky. But I am finding difficult to run the mesh examples (beacon, light switch, pb_remote).

My project is very simple I just want to broadcast messages from one mobile phone to another. So how can I go about it.

Are you sure you require a mesh network for this usecase? Have you taken a look at the multilink example from sdk 15.1? Again, like I have said before, I would at least have one nrf 52 dev kit in addition to the dongles, as you might want to debug the dongle if you run into any issues.
