How to assign same address to nRF52840 dongles so that they come in same network

I flashed the mesh serial hex file in two dongles and used one dongle for connecting it to the nRF Connect Windows application. The hex files were present in the nRF SDK for Mesh version 2.2.0. Now after opening the nRF connect windows application and the nRF connect mobile application I can see the two dongles under scanner section. Also in mobile application I can connect with both the dongles but not in Windows application. So how can I include both the dongles in same network so that the message sent by end devices(mobile phones) can be broadcasted to every other end device(mobile phone). Do I am on right path ? Or it can be achieved in other way. Also I cannot see my dongles on nRF connect mesh mobile application. Why this? How can I achieve my goal.

  • Hi.

Maybe you could explain a bit closer what it is that you want to acheive?
Do you want to send a message from one phone, through the Mesh network, and to another phone? Or did I misunderstand?

Now after opening the nRF connect windows application and the nRF connect mobile application I can see the two dongles under scanner section. Also in mobile application I can connect with both the dongles but not in Windows application.

    I don't think I understand this.
First you say that you can see the dongles in both nRF Connect for Windows and nRF Connect for mobile. But after you can only see the dongles in nRF Connect for mobile, not nRF Connect for Windows?

Also, what is the reason for picking the Mesh Serial Example?
Did you read the documentation for the Serial example?
    Mesh - Serial Example

    Joakim.
