HID mouse example getting disconnected from android

Hi,

I was working on the HID mouse example and noticed that the example gets disconnected from my mobile phone once i start moving the cursor.

I also noticed that the auto bonding function is not working with my phone.

Make: Xiaomi

OS: Android 7.0 (MIUI Global 9.6.2.0)[Latest]

But when I tried the same with an older phone, it seems to work more efficiently. The board rarely gets disconnected and the auto bonding function also works.

OS: Android 5.1.1

What SDK and SD are you using?

Do the HID mouse assert (e.g check app_error_handler())?

What is the disconnect reason when disconnecting (e.g. on BLE_GAP_EVT_DISCONNECTED check p_ble_evt->evt.gap_evt.params.disconnected.reason)?

Do you have an on-air sniffer trace?

Hi,

It seems like a the smart phone did disconnect by itself. I wonder why. I even tested it on PC and everything works smoothly. Is this issues confined specifically with that particular Chinese smart phone?

Kindly help us get to a conclusion since it is not acceptable to get such failures once we enter production phase.

I have not heard of such issue before, so I can only assume it is specifically with a particular smart phone.

What is the disconnect reason when disconnecting (e.g. on BLE_GAP_EVT_DISCONNECTED check p_ble_evt->evt.gap_evt.params.disconnected.reason)? 

If it's disconnecting because the peer (smart phone) send a disconnect packet, then it's not much the peripheral device (mouse) can do beside advertise to connect again immediately.

was read as "BLE_HCI_CONNECTION_TIMEOUT" and as I said before, it happens only with the Xiaomi made smart phone.

What ppm lfclk tolerance and lfclk source have you enabled the softdevice with?
