System Reset warning

Dear Sir,

I am working on nrf52832.softdevice S132. SDK15.

I am getting the following messages when I try to connect to the peripheral using nRFConnect.

The error is coming during sometime in the first 30 second, where I do a connect and  an immediate  disconnect.

app: Fatal error
<warning> app: System reset.

But it is not happening regularly.

Once in a while it occurs.

I am attaching the code here.

I was calling sd_ble_gap_disconnect() immediately after establishing a connection.

Do we need to provide some delay between connect-disconnect?

If yes how can I do that and where?

Is there anything else I need to take care ( which I am missing in my code)?

Pl

  • Hi

A couple of processes is initiated once a connect event is issued. One of them is the update of connection parameters. Disconnecting too quick can therefore cause an error to be thrown. You can try stopping the connection parameter module with ble_conn_params_stop() before you disconnect. I would advise you to continue with using a delay if the error persists.
