Monitor Mode Debugging

I'm not able to carry out monitor mode debugging. I'm referring https://github.com/NordicPlayground/j-link-monitoring-mode-debugging/blob/master/pca10040/s132/arm5_no_packs/README.md.I flashed the blinky project using Keil. Then entered debug mode and started code execution. But it does not connect to nrf connect app on my iphone.

What SDK are you using, currently the tutorial only supports SDK14.2. 

Have you flashed the SoftDevice?

Does the SoftDevice start, and do you start to advertise?

I tried with SDK 14.2. It does not connect to nrf connect app on android & iphone. LED1 does not glow that means its not advertising. LED2 in on. I also tried to change hids_keyboard project from SDK15 by adding JLink files but that too didnt work. How do I debug my code?

So does the code actually work at all without debugging?

Does it work with "conventional"  debugging? (ie, Halting - not Monitor Mode)

Yes I flashed the SoftDevice and then flashed the blinky project. I did it with SDK 14.2 & 15. I dont know why LED 2 stays ON.
