How to use DFU in nRF51822 Smart Beacon Kit?

Hello!

I just bought the Beacon Kit and i was following the user guide v1.1 and I have some questions about how to use DFU. I have already downloaded nRF Toolbox app.

1.- I downloaded the nRF51822_beacon_firmware_1.1.1.msi.zip to the phone but I couldn´t select the file. I was wondering if that is the correct file to download or there is another one I could use?. I would like to use the same code as the one the Beacon has as default so i could continue doing some tests.

2.-Is there any tutorial how to use DFU for the Beacon Kit with the Toolbox? I would like to know which files to use for the diferent file types in the nRF Toolbox app.

Hi,

I am attaching the user guide. Honestly speaking you can't do much with the beacon kit without a nRF51-DK. You need the nRF51-DK for development, but also to program the beacon kit if you accidentally have programmed it with non working firmware during testing.
