The nRF mesh mobile application does not scan the devices?

Hi,

I am using nRF mesh Android app version 1.0.3 and nRF mesh IOS app version 1.0.2

I have flashed the devices with light-switch example application under nRF5 SDK for mesh V 2.2.0 on PCA10040 DK. I'm not able to scan the devices through mobile application. I tried both before provisioning the devices and also after provisioning the devices. but the application doesn't show the boards.

You will need to use the light switch proxy client & proxy server examples to be able to provision via the nRF Mesh smartphone app.

First time I thougth that proxy feature is like proxy server on Internet. It manages communication between mobile phone and all ble mesh network so you access and see through it all mesh nodes (even with non proxy feature). But nordic implementation only enable see and access the only one node with proxy feature.

Yes, but through that one proxy node, you can communicate with the whole mesh network. Also, you could have multiple proxy nodes if you want to have more GATT connections from a smartphone to the mesh.
