I wanna create a bluetooth pan using raspberry pi and beacon nrf51822 using ipv4 , i don't have problem with the raspebrry it works well and it shares the ip adresse withouth any problem, but i'm wondering how i can get the ip adress using beacon can you help me

Hi James, 

if you want to address a Bluetooth device with a IP address, then I suggest that you take a look at our Experimental: IoT Examples in the latest SDK. Note: Our IoT libraries uses IPv6 and only supports the nRF52 family.

and what about ipv4 over nrf51

No, we do not have any solution that encapsulates IPv4 packets inside a Bluetooth packet for the NRF51 family. IPv6 is used first and foremost because one can compress the IPv6 header. This is not the case with IPv4.

and can i do it (talking about encapsulating ipv4 packets) with 52 family ?

It might be possible, but we do not have any implementation of this. Everything IP related in our SDK is IPv6.
