how to debug ANCS

Hi,

I'm done with the hardware interface of my current project. Right now I have a service running with a custom UUID, by writting this characterisitics you have access to the hardware on the device. I am not an apple developer and got told to implement ANCS on the nordic firmware, I am using the ble_app_ancs project, but I not sure how to migrate my service to the ANCS services from the code.

Is there any guide on how to use this? Is there any app for iPhone that I can use to debug my firmware? Thanks!

There's no guide specific on how to build custom services into the ANCS project, but there's a app note on how to create your own custom service that could prove helpful.

Alternative I would also recommend you to have a look at this case and code.

Regarding debugging your app on iOS an often used app is LigthBlue, but you might also find it useful to try the nRFSniffer that runs on an nRF51822-EK
