Using nrfUtil PC application to update FW over BLE with none nordic dongle

Hi,

Our product is peripheral device which is based on nRF52840

We also develop central device on PC application (windows 7 & 10) but our customers might use BLE 4.2 / 5 none nordic dongle 

The dongle is detect as COM PORT device 

Can nrfutil application runs with those dongles without code change?
