nrf52832 power consumption

I am using nrf52832 with latest version of s140 softdevice.

I migrated a project,  that was used on a nrf51 chip, to the latest sdk version.

The problem is that the measured power consumption on new nrf52832 is much higher.

Are there any relevant changes in the SDK or maybe other posibilites to operate in low power mode on nrf52832?

Hi,

S140 softdevice is not compatible with nRF52832, S140 is only for nRF52840. With nRF52832, you should use S132.

What is the current you measure on nRF52 IC, and what did you get in nRF51 IC? What cause the higher current is impossible to know without you explaining what you are doing in the application.

Are you using the power management library?
